Smarter with Gartner: Reading list

The book recommendations from Gartner experts were originally posted in January 2021 but is relevant to repeat in light of slower days in July/August in many parts of the world. The list of books for business leaders come with recommendations by several distinguished Gartner analysts.


On the list of 10 Must-Read Business Books for 2021, we have singled out two to bring with us on our vacation days during July/August.


1. The Tyranny of Merit: What’s Become of the Common Good? by Michael Sandel

"Published in August 2020, this book also examines meritocracy in light of the pandemic and is well-suited for leaders looking to increase their understanding of the role of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace."
